As a key member of the executive team, Mark leads global IT operations and platform engineering at eCapital, overseeing the systems and infrastructure that support the company’s continued expansion across markets and business lines. With more than 30 years of experience designing, building, and operating complex information technology systems, he focuses on ensuring eCapital’s technology environment remains scalable, resilient, and secure as the organization grows.
Mark is widely recognized for delivering mission-critical technology platforms at a global scale and for leading highly specialized teams responsible for the reliable operation of core systems. Prior to joining eCapital, he spent 14 years at Ernst & Young LLP, where he led the strategic design and implementation of the firm’s Global Financial Information System (GFIS). Following his tenure at EY, Mark founded a consulting company focused on enterprise systems, advising organizations including Research In Motion, KPMG, and the BMW Group. Before becoming Chief Technology Officer, he also served as a senior consultant to eCapital.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
