How eCapital helped this Skyview get ahead of economic uncertainty.

In late 2021, as interest rates began to climb and credit markets tightened, Dean Estrada and the team at Skyview Capital knew change was coming. Rather than waiting for conditions to worsen, they proactively began re-evaluating their banking relationships and financing strategy.

One of their portfolio companies, Continuum Global Solutions (CGS), was already feeling the strain—and it became clear that a more flexible, growth-oriented financing partner was needed. That’s when they turned to LSQ (now eCapital).

THE CHALLENGE

After years of favorable credit conditions, Skyview’s long-time lender began imposing new fees, restrictive borrowing limits, and customer concentration caps. What had once been a cost-effective arrangement became a financial drain—resulting in approximately $600,000 in fees over just 60 days.

CGS, which relied on long-term clients and accurate forecasting, found its access to working capital increasingly restricted. Requests to increase their borrowing base were met with pushback and steep penalties.

THE SOLUTION

In March 2022, CGS transitioned to eCapital for accounts receivable financing—immediately settling their prior line of credit and unlocking $30 million in liquidity. Within six months, eCapital increased the facility by another $10 million to support CGS’s continued growth.

With no restrictive caps or unnecessary fees, CGS gained the flexibility and capital needed to scale both organically and through new opportunities. The switch allowed Skyview to return focus to growth instead of navigating financial roadblocks.
