LAS VEGAS, June 5, 2019 – eCapital Corp., a leader in freight factoring for trucking companies in the transportation industry, implemented a company Wellness program in 2019 that promotes whole health and community outreach. In that vein, the company hosted a blood drive today with the American Red Cross.
Kevin Garvey, eCapital’s COO, comments: “This wellness initiative has been a big hit with our employees, so it was no surprise that they were eager to participate in our first blood drive. We look forward to next year being even more successful.”
In total, the eCapital blood drive collected 28 units of blood, translating to 84 lives saved. Blood donors help patients of all ages who are facing trauma or life-threatening conditions: accident and burn victims, organ transplant patients and those battling cancer. Every drop counts: one pint of donated blood can save three lives. It takes less than an hour to donate blood and the benefits are life-changing.
In 26 years of business, eCapital has built a strong team of employees who foster community efforts through blood drives, recycling, charity donations and volunteer work. #imakeadifference #giveblood #weareecapital
