Working with clients who are facing financial challenges is not only difficult, it can put a strain on your business relationship. When you partner with eCapital to offer a solution, you maintain a positive relationship with your client and become a credit hero.

eCapital understands the value of business relationships. It’s why we encourage our referral partners to determine how we work with the client. If you want to be involved in the process every step of the way, eCapital will report to you regularly on our progress. If you would rather the process be managed by us working directly with the client, eCapital will assume control and manage the client independently. In either case, we are transparent, ethical and sensitive to the client’s needs as we work in the best interest of all parties involved. We map our approach to your goals – whether that’s getting your client back on track and back to the bank, helping your non-bankable client find a solution, or exiting a difficult relationship on good terms.

STEP 1: Review Meeting

This is an introductory meeting to discuss the client’s situation. In some cases, this may include a review of a portfolio of “problematic” loans such as:

  • Turndowns
  • Workouts
  • Under-performing loans

We’ll talk through our solutions and identify how we can help.

STEP 2: Client Introduction

eCapital will review the document package for each case prior to meeting your client. You can make the introduction and participate in the meeting, or we can contact the client directly. It’s your call. The purpose of this meeting is to provide eCapital with a better understanding of the client’s business: their operations, working capital needs, goals, etc.

STEP 3: Issue a Proposal

A proposal is presented to the client with the rate, contract length, and terms and conditions. We’ll meet with the client to discuss the proposal and answer any questions. Once the proposal is signed, it is passed to the underwriting team.

STEP 4: Underwriting

Our underwriting team works directly with the client to conduct due diligence. Legal documents are then issued and sent to the client for review. We’ll keep you updated as we work through the review process so you know how things are progressing.

STEP 5: Funding

Once underwriting has been completed and legal docs are signed, the client is assigned an eCapital Account Manager. Following a brief introduction to eCapital’s practices and procedures, the client is ready for the first funding.
